DIMITRIS ZAVITSANOS
Short Bio
Dimitris Zavitsanos obtained his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2015, followed by a master’s degree in theoretical physics from School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences, NTUA. Shortly after, he joined the Photonics Communications Research Laboratory (PCRL) and he is a member since then as a PhD student. His research activities are centered on Quantum Communication Technologies and mainly on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and on its integration in Deployed Optical Networks. He actively participates in UNIQORN project (FET Flagship on Quantum Technologies).
