DR. CHRISTOS KOULOUMENTAS
Short Bio
Dr. Christos Kouloumentas received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering (major in communications) from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2000 and his M.Sc. degree in Optoelectronics-Microelectronics from the Physics Department of University of Crete (UoC) in 2004. In the period 2001-2008 he was employed as a research scientist in Deutsches Elektronen Synchrotron (DESY – Hamburg Germany), in the Optical Communications Laboratory of the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH – Hamburg Germany) and the Optical Communications Laboratory of Athens Information Technology Center (AIT – Athens Greece), participating in various European funded collaborative research projects. He is with the Photonics Communications Research Laboratory (PCRL) since December 2006. He is an excellent English and German language speaker.
